Shared equipments

3D printers

We have several 3D printers

Fused Filament printing

The printer is in 410:

  • Prusa Mini For printing monochrome parts in PETG. The typical resolution is 200µm, the maximal volume is 18 x 18 x 18 cm.

Discuss with Thomas Panier for details and maintenance.

Photopolymérisation printing

We have a Formlabs2 printer in the LJP/LKB worksop. This printer makes high resolution parts in semi-transparent resin.

It is available only via workshop members, so you need to go through Carou like with any other mechanical parts.

Small workshop

In room 410:

  • 3D Printer Prusa Mini (Thomas Panier)
  • Laser cutter Full spectrum Laser (Raphaël Candelier)
  • Micromilling Minitech mach (Alexis Prévost)
  • Mini CNC Bantam tools (Raphaël Candelier)
  • Drill Press
  • Mini drill
  • Welding table and electronic parts (Raphaël Candelier)

Chemistry and glass

Salle 503

  • MilliQ water. Responsable: André Estevez
  • Autoclave. Responsable: Maxime Deforet

Training is required to use it. If necessary, ask trained people: Wafa Ben Youssef, Maxime Déforet, Nicolas Escoubet, Maria Giralt Zuniga, Nelly Henry, Clément Nizak, Lydia Robert, Nicolas Fix-Boulier

  • Washing machine.
  • Ice machine. Jean-Christophe Galas
  • pH-meter. André Estévez

Microbioal Safety Cabinets (MSC)

The laboratory is equipped with MSC. Clean the benchtop with ethanol before and after each use. Please do not overstock inside so as not to obstruct the airflow and ensure good filtration.

-80ºC Freezer

Responsable: Maxime Deforet
(Online control of temperature is possible via https://apps.thermofisher.com/apps - Ask Maxime for credentials).
When you put a new box in the freezer, please write down your name on the freezer map that is hung on the door.

Cryoboxes are availables in plastics storage rooms (504) or in the small white cabinet in lab 509 (see with Nicolas Fix-Boulier).

To facilitate its use, a sheet with the the -80°C freezer map (room 512) is displayed on its door, and available here : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WGb9CcmWcThByh898cLyvHu-it-QpbtobJZLc4Cj36o/edit#gid=0

(for access rights, ask Nicolas)

Do not hesitate to reserve one or more location(s) by writing your name on the sheet and/or on the link.

Tab 2 (optional): Details of boxes stored in locations. Especially useful when you have several locations.
